Floyd County Food Pantry Launch, Services & Upcoming Mobile Distribution

Jen Burton and Kathy Ott shared details on the transition from Messiah’s Food Pantry to the newly established Floyd County Food Pantry, now operating under a local volunteer board. They discussed goals to expand access and awareness, how the partnership with the Northeast Iowa Food Bank helps provide a wide variety of food, and how the pantry operates for local residents. They also highlighted ongoing food rescue efforts and previewed the next mobile food pantry distribution on April 1 at the fairgrounds.
