The 2026 New Hampton Trapshooting Fundraising Banquet is set for April 3rd at the New Hampton Country Club.
However, the club’s Mindy Casterton-Humpal says the deadline to purchase tickets is this Friday (03.27) for their fifth annual banquet, which has special meaning.
Thus, they’re hoping for alumni turnout in support of the current generation of trap shooters.
Casteron-Humpal says there are 27 student-athletes between 7th and 12th grade out for this year’s New Hampton Trapshooting team. And, while the school district provides transportation to meets, the club is largely self-supporting and needs fundraisers like their annual banquet to help cover costs.
Tickets for the banquet are available at Office World and Bank Iowa in New Hampton.
This year’s banquet includes live and silent auctions, games, raffles, and a brisket dinner. A meatless option is also available.
