More than a half-dozen Republican candidates running for state and national offices are scheduled to appear at Thursday (04.16) night’s Four County Forum in Nashua.
Doug Kleiss with the Chickasaw County Republican Central Committee compares it to “one stop shopping” to get to know the candidates.
Kleiss says confirmed attendees include Governor hopefuls Brad Sherman, Adam Steen and Eddie Andrews, U.S. House candidates Jim Carlin and Joe Mitchell, State Representative Charley Thomson, State Senator Sandy Salmon, plus Abigail Maas, who is running for State Auditor.
Kleiss adds that all voters from Bremer, Butler, Chickasaw and Floyd counties are welcome to learn more about the candidates.
The program at the Nashua Town & Country Clubhouse begins with a meet-and-greet at 5 pm and then, starting at 6 pm, Kleiss says candidates will each get eight minutes to speak.
