The Kinney Pioneer Museum, along Highway 18/122 between Mason City and Clear Lake, is kicking off its 2026 season this week.
Director Mary Loden says Tuesday (05.05) began their soft opening, which leads to bigger events this weekend.
Loden says, in addition to more events planned throughout the summer, the museum has gotten a bit of a makeover.
Like most museums, Loden is also pushing for more members.
She’s also hopeful of more volunteers.
