Residential Brush Pickup in Charles City Begins Monday (05.11)

The Charles City Street Department will begin residential brush pickup on Monday (05.11), with crews making one pass through town.

Important notes:

*Brush only

*Place brush in the right-of-way

*Cut ends facing the street for easier pickup

Additional reminders:

• The Shaw Avenue Compost Site is open year-round for disposal of branches and yard waste.
• The next citywide brush pickup begins June 8.
