Floyd County Museum Director Lloyd to Leave Position

This is the final week on the job for Floyd County Museum Director Mckenna Lloyd.

Lloyd came to Charles City to take over the post in August 2022.

Making such a big move wasn’t daunting to Lloyd.

Though there was the adjustment to Midwest weather.

As director of the Floyd County Museum, in Charles City, it’s no surprise Lloyd has become somewhat of an expert in one particular “field.”

Lloyd’s last day as museum director is Friday (05.22). She is departing for a new job opportunity in Mankato, Minnesota. 

The museum is currently advertising for Lloyd’s replacement.
