The “Feel Good Show” in Charles City July 4th weekend looks to celebrate America’s 250th birthday.
That’s Dianne Souder, one of the organizers for the variety show. She says they’re looking for people to audition at 5 PM Wednesday (05.27) at the Charles Theatre.
Jayne Stowe says no tickets will be sold for the show, scheduled for 4 PM on July 4th at the theatre. However, free will donations are encouraged to benefit music and drama students at Charles City High School.
Stowe says she organized similar shows in the 1990s that raised about $120,000 for the Charles itself. Monetary donations can also be made at First Citizens Bank in Charles City on behalf of the variety show.
Stowe adds that if you cannot make auditions on Wednesday, they can make other arrangements accordingly. For more information, contact jaynestowe1@gmail.com
