Charles City Community Schools are again participating in the Summer Food Service Program, set to start this week.
From June 1st through June 26th, meals will be provided to all children without charge and are the same for all children regardless of race, color, national origin, sex, age or disability. There will be no discrimination in the course of the meal service. Meals are available on a first come, first serve basis from 11 AM to noon, Monday through Friday at Lincoln Elementary School in Charles City.
Parents are encouraged to accompany their children and are welcome to eat, with an adult meal at $4. No food is to be shared or carried out of the building.
