Kids Camps Offered by Chickasaw County ISU Extension June 18, 23, 25

Chickasaw County ISU Extension and Outreach is offering a pair of kids day camps in the month of June.

Youth Coordinator Makaela Kime says “Munching Mysteries” is a day camp for curious minds.

Two “Munching Myhsteries” sessions are offered: 9 AM to 3 PM Thursday (06.18) at Mikkelson Park in New Hampton, and Tuesday, June 23rd at Brad Niewoehner Park in Fredericksburg.

From 9 AM to 3 PM Thursday, June 25th, Kime says the “Fed by Farms” kids day camp will explore where food comes from and how we all grow.

Kime says each camp is open to kids who completed kindergarten through fourth grade this past school year. Cost per session is $25, which covers supplies and materials, as well as a morning and afternoon snack. Kids are to bring a sack lunch when attending any of the camps.
