Area families are invited to begin the Independence Day celebration with Kids Day Friday (07.03) in Charles City’s Central Park.
That’s Emily Garden with Soifer Family McDonald’s, which hosts Kids Day with First Citizens Bank. Garden says the event begins with registration and music at 10 AM.
The Kids Parade is at 10:30 AM, followed by free inflatables, games, water ball, pedal cars, barrel train rides, tattoos, and a $3 McDonald’s lunch starting at 11 AM. Festivities continue until 1 PM and include bingo and the Quality Auto Service Foam Dance Party at noon.

Mini golf is hosted at Bayou Bend.
