Charles City Mayor Dean Andrews stopped by KCHA for this month’s Mayor Monday to discuss several important projects and community updates. During the conversation, he shares the latest on the new City Hall and Police Department, housing developments including The Collective and the Caden project, railroad crossing improvements, and reflects on a successful Independence Day celebration and Firecracker 5K.

He lives in Charles City with his endlessly patient wife Vicki and their kids, Brynlee and Jaxon, who have already perfected the art of the eye‑roll every time Dad cracks another “dad joke.”
