Online Registration for Charles City Schools 2026-2027 School Year Opens Saturday (08.01)

Online registration for the 2026-27 school year in the Charles City School District will open this Saturday (08.01).

School officials say registration packets have been mailed out to returning district families, which include details regarding online enrollment and payment, school picture days and other required forms.

In a statement, Superintendent Brian Burnight said, “On behalf of the entire Comet family, I am absolutely thrilled to welcome our returning students and new families to the 2026-27 school year. Registration marks the official kickoff to a brand-new chapter of learning, discovery and community. We deeply value family partnerships and look forward to working alongside parents and guardians to make this an extraordinary year of achievement and growth for every child.” 

Burnight also noted, “Our dedicated teachers, staff and administrators have spent the summer preparing safe, engaging and vibrant environments for our students to thrive.” 

Families needing in-person assistance for registration or, those new to the district, are asked to make an appointment at one of the schools. 

School offices will be open Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM starting Monday, August 3rd.
