Final Charles City ‘Party in the Park’ for 2026 Features Duck Dash

It’s the fourth and final Party in the Park (PIP) of the summer Friday (08.07) night in downtown Charles City.

From 5 to 9 PM in Central Park, it’s food, beverages and family friendly activities hosted by Main Street Charles City. Free, live music features RetroSpect with Jana West playing the iconic hits of the 70’s to today’s chart toppers. 

PIP tokens are used as the form of payment for food, beverages and select paid activities. Any orange tokens purchased at either of the first three PIPs are also still honored.

The Chamber’s Cathie Hager says there’s also the Duck Dash at 7 PM.

Ducks are $5 each or get a 6-Quack for $25 or a Quacker’s Dozen (13 ducks) for $50. Ducks can be purchased in advance at the Chamber/Main Street office, from Chamber and Main Street board members. Ducks are also available at Party in the Park between 5 and  6:30 PM.

Cash prizes awarded to the first 20 ducks to cross the finish line, including a $1,000 Grand Prize.
