The Charles City Arts Council hosts its 53nd Art-A-Fest on Saturday (08.15).
The Arts Center’s Ashley Koebrick says this year’s show runs from 9 am to 3 pm in Central Park.
Koebrick adds there will be lots of kids activities, too.
Cash prizes are awarded to artists whose work is judged superior and Art-A-Fest bucks are awarded to lucky shoppers to purchase artwork.
The event is rain or shine and will only be canceled for severe and dangerous weather.

The Charles City Farmers Market also runs adjacent to the park from 9 am until noon.
