Agri Star plant looking to continue through limited production

The Agri Star Meat & Poultry Processing Plant says they are working on limited production throughout their facility in Postville that was destroyed by a fire and left 600 employees out of work. In a post on Facebook, the company states “Since the fire at our plant, tremendous effort has gone into cleaning, repairing, and preparing our facility for the next chapter. Thanks to the determination and dedication of many, we are optimistic that we will resume limited production this coming week (contingent upon the successful completion of required inspections).” They continued to mention “The road ahead will require continued patience, flexibility, and hard work, but we are incredibly grateful and proud to be taking this step forward.”
