Ribbon Cutting Tuesday (Aug. 18) for New Music Garden at New Hampton Public Library

A project, seven years in the making, will be the subject of a ribbon cutting ceremony Tuesday (08.18) evening in New Hampton.

The new Music Garden at the New Hampton Public Library has been an example in stick-to-itiveness for Library Director Carrie Becker.

Becker says it took over a year just to design the Music Garden.

Becker says various grants, plus New Hampton community donations of time, money, and materials, helped cover those costs and bring it all together. 

Becker adds that benches and butterflies that accent the Music Garden were also donated.

New Horizons Chamber will host a ribbon cutting on the south side of the library at 5 PM Tuesday.
