“Meet the Team Night” Thursday (08.20) for New Hampton, Nashua-Plainfield Fall Sports

New Hampton High School sports fans are invited to “Meet the Team Night” this Thursday (08.20) evening.

The schedule includes a volleyball scrimmage from 5 to 6 pm, with introductions of players and coaches from the fall sports of volleyball, cross country, dance, cheerleaders and football at 5:30 PM.

LeNae Schwickerath, with the Chickasaws Booster Club, says there’s also the 33rd Annual Lynch Barbeque, with free will donation meals served from 4:30 to 7 PM in the High School Cafeteria.

Schwickerath adds that many people aren’t aware how much athletic equipment is not covered in a school district budget.

Schwickerath says they’re always looking for new parents to become members and help replace those who may leave as their students graduate.
