On their first day of school (Aug. 24), every student in kindergarten through 12th grade in the Charles City School District received a free Activity Pass for the 2026-2027 school year.
During a student assembly Monday (08.24) morning at the High School, Activities Director Dana Bohlen thanked Mike Molstead Motors for covering the costs of all student passes.
Bohlen knows of Mike Molstead’s passion for the Comets firsthand.
Josh Molstead spoke on behalf of the auto dealership and his dad, who passed away almost a year ago after a 20-plus-year battle with cancer.
The activity pass will provide students free admission to all Comets regular-season home athletic events during the 2026-2027 school year.
