It’s the 15th Annual Al Baxter Memorial Scholarship Shoot Saturday (08.29) at the Fredericksburg Sportsman’s Club.
Baxter was a former DNR Conservation officer for Chickasaw and Howard County’s and the late husband of Jo Baxter Myrsiades.
Myrsiades says the Memorial Shoot raises money for college scholarships.
The event also includes a variety of raffle prizes, door prizes, shooting games, and a free will donation lunch. Myrsiades says you don’t have to shoot to join in.
The shoot is from noon to 4 p.m. Saturday at the Fredericksburg Sportsmen’s Club, where the New Hampton trapshooting team also hosts competition.
