PAWS Previews Saturday UTV Ride, Introduces Wiley and Shares Upcoming Fall Events

COMMUNITY CONVERSATIONS BROUGHT TO YOU BY FLOYD COUNTY MEDICAL CENTER:

PAWS Humane Society’s Jacie Peichel joined KCHA for this week’s PAWS Pet of the Week, introducing Wiley, a roughly three-month-old kitten who has made a big turnaround since arriving at the shelter sick and underweight earlier this month. Wiley is now doing well and looking for his forever home. Peichel also previewed PAWS’ UTV Ride coming up Saturday, with registration from 9 to 10 a.m. at Derailed in Charles City and the group departing at 10:30 a.m. The approximately 45-mile ride will include gravel, restored prairie, wooded trails and a trip through Gilman White Conservation Park. The ride is a free-will donation fundraiser benefiting animals at PAWS.
