Chickasaw, Floyd County Conservation Host Joint River Float Saturday (Oct. 10)

Chickasaw and Floyd County Conservation will host a joint free river float this Saturday (Oct. 12).

That’s Chickasaw County Conservation Naturalist Matt Crayne, who says he hopes floaters will be able to enjoy some changing fall colors along the way.

Crayne says all participants must wear lifejackets, which will be provided. And, with a limited supply of kayaks and paddles, pre-registration is required. Shuttle service is also available..

The float will start at 10 AM Saturday morning. For more information or to reserve your spot, call 641-394-4714.
