The American Lamb Board is launching a new two-year leadership program for 2027 and 2028 aimed at building the next generation of U.S. lamb industry leaders.
The Lamb Industry NextGen Program pairs hands-on learning, mentorship, and small-group projects with major industry events like the American Sheep Industry Convention and National Lamb Feeders Leadership School. Participants will dive into modern management practices, new tech, and market opportunities—plus, two standout members will get to join an international tour to connect with global sheep leaders.
Whether you’re a producer, student, entrepreneur, or educator, anyone connected to the industry can apply, though preference goes to active producers. Applications close December 31, 2026, and the first official cohort will be announced on February 1, 2027.
