Floyd County Campgrounds Close This Weekend, Fossil & Prairie Center Tours and October 29 Event Ahead

COMMUNITY CONVERSATIONS BROUGHT TO YOU BY FLOYD COUNTY MEDICAL CENTER:

Floyd County Conservation Naturalist Heidi Reams joined Community Conversations to discuss the final weekend of camping at county campgrounds, which close for the season Sunday, October 18. The Fossil & Prairie Center will also close for the season at the end of October, although the park and trails will remain open. Upcoming activities include guided golf cart tours at the Fossil & Prairie Center on Sunday, October 18, at 3 and 4 p.m., along with a co-ed Women in the Woods event featuring a mead tasting on October 29 at the Tosanak Recreation Area.
