Charles City Middle School to Host 24 Teams for Regional Robotics

Charles City Middle School will host a regional robotics competition next month.

Patrick Nyberg, Talented and Gifted (TAG) Coordinator and Robotics Coach at the Middle School, informed the Charles City School Board Monday (Oct. 12) night of their select status.

It’s a great setting for Charles City Middle School robotics to continue to build on their winning tradition.

Nyberg told KCHA/KCZE that the competition, set for Saturday, November 21, will require the use of almost every public space available at the Middle School.

The regional robotics competition will be free and open to the public.

Middle School Principal Joe Taylor says plans are also in the works to also livestream the event.
