Ag Matters: Thompson Talks H-2A at the Iowa State Fair

House Ag Committee Chair Glen Thompson was recently at the Iowa State Fair and participated in a roundtable hosted by the Iowa Cattlemen’s Association. GT Thompson recently introduced the “Securing Agriculture’s Workforce Act,” which he said includes changes to H-2A that will benefit the livestock industry. 

Because of that year-round need for workers, Thompson said the bill’s authors made notable changes.

He talked about some of the other changes that should benefit livestock producers.
