Sales of Ozkar Plush Toy to Benefit New Hampton Police K9 Fund

The New Hampton Police Department (NHPD) is expanding its funding efforts for its K9 unit.

For a limited time only, NHPD is offering a special-edition plush of their K9 Officer Ozkar. Plushies are available for $35.

All proceeds from the sale of these limited edition Ozkar plushies will go directly toward supporting the NHPD K9 fund.

The NHPD K9 Unit is donation and grant supported. No tax dollars are use to fund the program.

Ozkar joined the NHPD about a year ago and was certified as a dual-purpose K9 in October 2025, according to Police Chief Conrad Rosendahl.

Officer Kleckner joined the NHPD this past January and completed K9 training with Ozkar this past spring.
