Grassley asks Trump to take on seed and chemical companies

A couple months after a National Corn Growers Association (NCGA) study highlighted the alarm that U.S. farmers are paying double for some crop production products compared to Brazil, Iowa Senator Chuck Grassley has requested that President Trump turn to the same campaign he’s aimed at pharmaceutical companies on the seed and chemical industry.

Grassley said to Trump, arguing American farmers deserve the same fight the administration has waged on behalf of U.S. drug consumers. The fact that Grassley made aware is “American farmers are paying a 68% premium over what is paid in Brazil.”

He requested that Trump study the injustice and to announce shortly on his findings.
