“Poorly Painted Pets” Saturday (Sep. 12) to Raise Money for Floyd County Food Pantry

The Floyd County Food Pantry has seen ever-increasing utilization by people facing food insecurity, a trend Director Jen Burton says hit another all-time high in August.

Burton is not surprised by the increased demand.

The pantry is located in downtown Charles City and operates out of the same building of what was the Messiah Food Pantry. But, people aren’t the only ones served by the pantry.

That’s SNAP’s Jill Connell, who says that’s why they’re partnering with Tellurian Brewing this Saturday (09.12) from 2 to 4 PM, when local celebrities gather for Poorly Painted Pets.

Find more details on the Poorly Painted Pets celebrities below or at Tellurian Brewing on Facebook.
