COMMUNITY CONVERSATIONS BROUGHT TO YOU BY FLOYD COUNTY MEDICAL CENTER:

The Floyd County Izaak Walton League is changing things up for its annual Chili and Chicken Noodle Soup Supper on Friday, October 16, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Dave’s Restaurant in Charles City. Randy Vandeventer joined Community Conversations to discuss the new location, dine-in and takeout options, and a new drive-through on the east side of the building. Proceeds support local conservation projects, including wildlife habitat improvements. Vandeventer also previewed next week’s “Incredibly Obvious Quiz” on KCHA, where listeners can win tickets to the supper, and shared information about joining the local Izaak Walton League chapter.
