Details:
* WHAT...Flash Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible.

* WHERE...Portions of Iowa, including the following counties,
Allamakee, Chickasaw, Clayton, Fayette, Floyd, Howard, Mitchell
and Winneshiek and southeast Minnesota, including the following
counties, Dodge, Fillmore, Houston, Mower, Olmsted, Wabasha and
Winona.

* WHEN...Through this evening.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- Multiple rounds of showers and thunderstorms will continue
today.  Some heavy rainfall has already occurred over parts
of Dodge and Mower counties in southeast Minnesota near a
stationary boundary. Additional rainfall, some heavy is
forecast to occur with storms this morning as deeper moisture
and a storm system approaches the area.  More rain
overspreads the area again this afternoon as the storm system
moves through.  Due to storms repeating over the same areas,
locally heavy rain and flash flooding could occur.

Warnings. Those living in areas prone to flooding should be prepared

Details:
At 1140 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking gusty showers along a line
extending from Rochester to Stacyville to near Independence. Movement
was northeast at 55 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 to 45 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated and automated observations.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Rochester, Austin, Decorah, Charles City, Oelwein, Cresco, Osage, New
Hampton, Dodge Center, Wabasha, West Union, Preston, Elkader,
Mantorville, Alma, Kasson, Stewartville, Byron, St. Charles, and
Plainview.

This includes Interstate 90 in Minnesota between mile markers 176 and
237.
