Expect Increased Law Enforcement for Country Thunder Music Festival

With thousands of people expected to converge on the Country Thunder music festival this weekend in north Iowa, law enforcement will be stepping up in presence as well.

Iowa State Patrol Trooper Tom Williams says authorities will keep an eye on the Forest City area to keep concert goers and motorists safe.

Williams also encourages motorists to buckle up, obey the speed limit and avoid distracted driving.

Country Thunder Iowa runs Friday through Sunday. Headlining acts include Lee Brice Friday night, Kip Moore Saturday night and Chris Young Sunday night.
