Almost $800 Raised for New Hampton Schools “Negative Lunch Balance Fund”

A New Hampton Community Schools Kitchens fundraiser has raised almost $800.00 for students who need help paying for school lunches.

School district Director of Food Service Jodi Cerwinske says her department’s recent sales of Nordic Ware Baking Pans will benefit students who might otherwise not get to eat.

Cerwinske says sales of the baking pans, combined with donations by people who wanted to make monetary contributions without ordering pans, raised $769.71 for the Negative Balance Lunch Fund.

She adds the final order for the baking pans was placed Thursday (02.09), but  anyone who missed out on ordering, but would still like to donate, can do so anytime. Checks can be mailed or dropped off to any school office and be made out to New Hampton Schools. Put “For Negative Lunch Balance Fund” in the memo field.
