Northeast Iowa Drug Busts Nabs Four Suspects All Over 50

A pair of northeast Iowa drug busts over the weekend have resulted in four subjects, all over the age of 50, being arrested.

The Fayette County Sheriff’s Office says the DNR assisted with executing a search warrant early Saturday afternoon at a residence on South Mill Street in Wadena. Found and seized were methamphetamine, marijuana, and drug paraphernalia; leading to the arrests of 56-year-old Steven Boleyn and 59-year-old Kimberly Henriksen, both of Wadena.

Boleyn and Henriksen were both charged with two counts each of possession of meth and possession of marijuana, Class D felonies, plus possession of drug paraphernalia. Boleyn also had a felony arrest warrant for multiple counts of possession of a controlled substance.

Saturday night at about 9:30 pm, Fayette County Sheriff’s Office, along with Northeast Iowa Task Force Members, Division of Narcotics Enforcement, West Union Police Department, Clayton County Sheriff’s Office, Iowa State Patrol and Postville Police Department and K-9 Unit executed a search warrant in the 16000 block of Empire Road northeast of Wadena. Found and seized were multiple ounces of meth, liquid and syringes, paraphernalia, and hundreds of dollars in US currency.

Arrested were 60-year-old Connie Wilson and 52-year-old Frederick Degreif, also both of Wadena. They have been charged with possession with intent to deliver meth, a Class B felony; possession of a controlled substance 3rd offense and failure to affix a drug tax stamp, both Class D felonies; and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Sheriff Marty Fisher says Saturday night was the second drug-related search warrant executed in the last year at the same rural Wadena residence. Both Wilson and Degreif were arrested for felony drug charges in that search as well.
