Charles City Police Annual Bike Rodeo Saturday (06.03)

The Charles City Police Department invites kids to kick off summer with the annual Dean and Kim Marzen Memorial bike rodeo.
Chief Hugh Anderson says kids can get their bike safety-checked, ride through the obstacle course, get a “bike wash,†and be entered into a drawing for free bikes.
Anderson adds that kids can also register their bikes with the CCPD to help get bikes returned to them quicker if a bike is lost or stolen.
The bike rodeo will be held in the parking lot east of HotShots by the Cedar River Saturday morning from 10 to 11:30 am.
Drawings for bikes and other prizes will start at 11:15 am. Kids must be present to win.
