Charles City Elks Returns Flag Day Ceremonies to Central Park

The Charles City Elks Lodge plans to return their Flag Day (06.14) ceremonies to its traditional location in Central Park, according to the Elks’ Liz Hamm.

Wednesday’s forecast calls from dry conditions with daytime highs in the mid-80s. 

In addition to returning to its traditional locale, Exalted Ruler Jessica Schwickerath says the Elks have a longstanding tradition with Flag Day.

The Elks’ Flag Day ceremonies begin at 6 pm Wednesday in Central Park. In the event of inclement weather, the event would move inside to the Elks Lodge in Charles City.
