Iowa Fireworks Regulations Vary from Town to Town

As stands crop up across north Iowa for seasonal sales of consumer fireworks, officials are also reminding citizens of when and whether those fireworks can be set off in their respective communities.

Charles City Police Chief Hugh Anderson says the City’s ordinance prohibits fireworks being fired off year round.

Contact officials for details on the local fireworks ordinance in your community.
