A waste and recycling collection problem has become a “pain in the glass†in New Hampton.
Mayor Bobby Schwickerath says, what started as an occasional here and there issue with broken glass in the streets, has become more frequent and widespread recently.
Schwickerath says the unintentional problem is attributed to the City’s garbage contractor, Jendro Sanitation.
Schwickerath adds that Jendro is aware of the problem and has continued efforts to get their collection truck fixed.
