Homecoming Parades in New Hampton (Thu), Nashua (Fri)

It’s Homecoming Week for both New Hampton and Nashua-Plainfield school districts.

New Hampton’s Homecoming parade will work through the downtown area Thursday  (09.28) night starting at 6 pm. A pep rally will follow, including the crowning of the Homecoming king. Candidates include Talyn Bohaty, Lee Reicks, Karson Kolbet, Gatlin McCumber and Cael Laures. 

The Homecoming queen coronation will be at halftime of the Chickasaws’ football game Friday (09.29) night against North Fayette Valley. Queen candidates are Tori Bearman, Grace Maloy, Hailee Pesek, Taryn Smith and Molly Wegner.

Nashua-Plainfield will crown their Homecoming queen and king during a coronation ceremonies at 7 pm Thursday (09.28) night at the football stadium. Queen candidates are Maci Malven, Ellie Eick, Isabella Dietz, Jordyn Frost and Myranda Webster. King candidates include Trae Geise, Tucker Franzen, Tate White, Hayden Munn and Dylan Blanchard.

The Nashua-Plainfield Homecoming pep rally begins at 2 pm Friday (09.29) afternoon with the Homecoming parade to follow at 2:30 pm. The Huskies will host South Winneshiek in the Homecoming football game at 7 pm Friday night.

Homecoming dances for both schools will start at 8 pm Saturday (09.30) night, with New Hampton’s dance at the Chickasaw Events Center and Nashua-Plainfield’s dance in the High School Gym.
