The City of New Hampton is flushing fire hydrants this week.
Mayor Bobby Schwickerath says the Street Department began flushing in the south part of the city and then will work to the west, north and east sections of town until all hydrants are flushed.Â
During periods of discoloration, postpone washing clothes and limit your use of hot water. Any issues should be resolved in a short time.
Schwickerath says Curbside Compost Pickup dates have also been set.
