Floyd County ISU Extension is offering a Wellness Wednesday Workshop, an evening of tips on how to keep your menu simple and fun during the busy holiday season.
“Healthy and Prepared for the Holidays,†from 5:30 to 7 pm Wednesday (11.15) at the Extension office in downtown Charles City, is a workshop that will include how to prepare meals ahead of time, healthy modifications to recipes, and how to repurpose leftovers. Each participant will also make a freezer meal to take home from the class.  Â
Cost of the workshop is $5, with pre-registration required by Monday (11.13) by contacting Floyd County ISU Extension at 641-228-1453 or emailing [email protected].Â
The workshop is subject to cancellation due to low registrations. Â
