Floyd County Kids “Shop with a Cop†in Charles City

About 30 kids from across Floyd County were able to “Shop with a Cop†Wednesday (12.13) night in Charles City.
Working in conjunction with the Charles City and Nora Springs police departments, the program is coordinated by the Floyd County Sheriff’s Office.
Senior Deputy Brian Tiedemann says they’re out to help kids in need at Christmas
Charles City Police Chief Hugh Anderson says shopping with and for the kids is a fun, special time.
Tiedeman notes that this year’s event is back to in-person shopping with the kids after a COVID-forced hiatus.
Tiedemann adds that monetary donations for “Shop with a Cop†can be made at any time and, if more funds can be raised, they’d like to increase the number of kids they shop with as well.
