Minnesota Man Killed in Single-Vehicle Crash in North Iowa

A Minnesota man has died in a single-vehicle crash in north Iowa.

The Iowa State Patrol says the wreck occurred shortly before 5 pm Wednesday (02.21) in Winnebago County. 69-year-old David Mason of Elmore, Minnesota, was driving a Buick Roadmaster northbound on Highway 69 when it left the roadway near 440th Street.Â

The vehicle then entered the ditch before vaulting over the road and rolling over, ejecting Mason from the vehicle. The crash report indicates he was not wearing a seatbelt.

Mason was pronounced dead at the scene.
