You can’t celebrate Iowa State University Extension and Outreach Week in Iowa without help from CY.
Amanda Tupper is director of the Chickasaw County ISU Extension office in New Hampton. She says, if you spot the Cyclone mascot, you can get free stuff.
Tupper adds that extension offices across the state are also handing out free garden seed packets throughout the week.
Leslie Milius with Floyd County ISU Extension in Charles City says they’ll wrap things up with Cy visiting as part of Finally Friday (04.19).
Milius says they’ll also host a tailgate from 4 to 6 pm Friday with free hot dog meals for the first 100 people.
