Chickasaw Co. Sheriff: See Something, Say Something

The Chickasaw County Sheriff’s Office is reminding the public that we all play a vital role in keeping our communities safe.

In a department Facebook post, Sheriff Ryan Shawver says, “It’s easy to be distracted during our daily routines with how busy we all are with work and the vast amounts of summer activities.  When you are going about your day, IF YOU SEE SOMETHING that doesn’t seem quite right, SAY SOMETHING.”

Report suspicious activity to the Chickasaw County Sheriff’s Office Communications Center at 641-394-3121 or by calling 911.  However, please, do not report suspicious activity to their Facebook page or through Facebook Messenger, since those pages are not monitored 24/7.

The post also includes a link to the “See Something/Say Something” initiative through the U.S. Department of Homeland Security.
