Mighty Howard County Fair Features Sawyer Brown in Concert

The 130th edition of the Mighty Howard County Fair continues through Sunday in Cresco.

Fair Board President Tom Barnes says Friday (06.28) night’s grandstand entertainment, “Part in the Pit,” features the country music concert with Sawyer Brown, experiencing a resurgence of late with the documentary, “Get Me to the Stage on Time,” released last year.

Facebook update on Friday’s concert:

Eastern Heights will not be opening for Sawyer Brown this evening. They WILL be performing in the beer pavilion.
As of now, the grandstand will be opening at 7:00pm. We have full intentions of having a concert this evening.
We are closely monitoring the weather. Please stay tuned for updates!

Grandstand entertainment continues Saturday (06.29) night with “Party in the Pit” with Hairball in concert and the T&C Rodeo Sunday (06.30) night.

Fair officials are reminding concert goers that the only authorized on-line sale agent for the Mighty Howard County Fair is Etix. Fair Fun Cards and individual night tickets purchased from unauthorized sources may be stolen, counterfeit or invalid due to payment issues and may not be honored.
