Former Charles City Comet turned Iowa Hawkeye Women’s Wrestler Lilly Luft was one of our featured guests this morning (10-4-24) on Community Conversations where she spoke about her career and this weekend’s Youth Wrestling Clinic featuring USA Wrestling.

Pritchard Companies Youth Wrestling Clinic Featuring USA Wrestling – October 5-6, 2024 at the Mason City High School Fieldhouse, 1700 4th St SE, Mason City, IA 50401

Registrations participate in both days!

Day 1 – Saturday, October 5
Session 1 I 9-11 AM I 1st-6th grade wrestlers
Session 2 I 1-4 PM I 7th-12th grade wrestlers

Day 2 – Sunday, October 6
Session 1 I 9-11 AM I 1st-6th grade wrestlers
Session 2 I 1-3 PM I 7th-12th grade wrestlers

Youth Wrestling Clinic Featuring:
-USA Wrestling World Team Head Coach, Bill Zadick
-Iowa Hawkeye Women’s Wrestler, Lilly Luft

This FREE event is open to 1st through 12th grade wrestlers with an active USA Wrestling membership and includes two sessions per day. Attendees will receive a sweat towel, hat, drawstring bag, signed poster, and Q&A time with USA Wrestling representatives.

Chris Berg

Chris was born in Webster City and raised in Charles City, which basically means he’s been corn‑fed and radio‑bred since day one. As a kid, he was always caught singing along to the radio — and while he’ll tell you he’s great at karaoke, let’s just say the audience’s ears often file a noise complaint. When he’s not busy butchering ‘80s power ballads, Chris enjoys starting overly ambitious home projects that rarely make it past the “great idea” stage. He lives in Charles City with his endlessly patient wife Vicki and their kids, Brynlee and Jaxon, who have already perfected the art of the eye‑roll every time Dad cracks another “dad joke.”
