Chickasaw County Public Health Offers Children’s Flu Clinic Wednesday (10.09)

Chickasaw County Public Health is offering a pair of children’s flu clinics in October.

Flu shots are available to children ages six-months-old up to 18 years of age from 2 to 8 pm this Wednesday (10.09) and from 2 to 8 pm on Tuesday, October 22nd. Both will be held at the Chickasaw County Community Service Building in New Hampton, with appointments requested by calling 641-394-4053.

Public Health Administrator Lisa Welter recommends flu shots for kids AND adults.

For adults 18-and-older, Chickasaw County Public Health hosts a flu clinic from 1 to 3 pm this Thursday (10.10) at the Nashua Public Library and next Tuesday, October 15th, from 8 am to 4:30 pm at the Chickasaw County Community Service Building in New Hampton.

For adult flu shots, insurance cards or payment is required at time of vaccination, with most insurance accepted. Walk-ins welcome.
