Hackman, Knoll Vie for Chickasaw Co. Supervisor Seat 3

The lone county-level contested race in Chickasaw County Tuesday (11.05) is for Third District Supervisor, with Republican incumbent Jacob Hackman being challenged by Democrat Joan Knoll.

Hackman is seeking his third term on the Board.

While Knoll has not served as a Supervisor previously, she’s worked closely with past supervisors during her time as Chickasaw County Auditor from 2008 to 2020, part of some 40 years in county government.

As auditor, Knoll says she understands the need for fiscal responsibility as part of her commitment to serve the people she represents.

Hackman says he wants to keep Chickasaw County on the rise financially.

In uncontested races Tuesday (11.05) in Chickasaw County, Republican Issac Carter is unopposed in his bid for the Fourth District Supervisor.

Current Fourth District Supervisor Matt Kuhn is not seeking re-election.

Also running unopposed in Chickasaw County is incumbent First District Supervisor Steven Breitbach, County Auditor Sheila Shekelton and Sheriff Ryan Shawver.
