Severe Weather Hits Charles City & NE Iowa

A series of showers and thunderstorms swept across eastern Iowa producing small hail and rainfall. The storms dropped rain and hail reported from Charles City to Waverly, with Charles City receiving the most rain reported.

Rainfall amounts varied with the storms throughout the Coloff Media weather network:

Charles City – 1.12″
Mason City – 0.96″
Stacyville – 0.82″
New Hampton – 0.75″
Forest City – 0.67″
Maquoketa – 0.22″
Cedar Falls – 0.13″
Manchester – 0.03″
