COMMUNITY CONVERSATIONS BROUGHT TO YOU BY FLOYD COUNTY MEDICAL CENTER:

Pat Lumley and Denny Hull from the Charles City VFW stopped by to share details about this Saturday’s Oktoberfest celebration — complete with grilled brats, homemade potato salad, games like keg rolling and stein-holding, and plenty of prizes. The community event starts at 1 p.m. and helps raise funds to support local veterans in need.
